Victoria Beckham is trading in her heels for crutches! Victoria Beckham was photographed walking on crutches and a foot brace earlier this week after an injury that led to a “small stress fracture.”

The former Spice Girl allegedly fell during her recent skiing trip in Whistler, Canada while on a family vacation. The fashion designer was pictured hobbling on crutches and wearing a large foot brace that we’re almost certain she didn’t get a say on in regards to its design.

She was spotted departing London’s Guildhall this past Friday morning, Feb 23, 2018, with a pair of sunglasses, navy blue sweater, and only one kitten heel pump on her right foot. Victoria took to her social media on Friday to clear up any concerns and speculations surrounding her injury and wrote: “Thank you all for the lovely messages, a small stress fracture, just need some rest!” the star assured her fans.

Although it wasn’t confirmed whether the 43-year-old fell on the slopes of Whistler Mountain, or injured herself elsewhere, we know that she did, in fact, arrive back in London without a foot brace and crutches. This led many fans to speculate that rather than a skiing accident, Beckham may have had an operation on one of the extremely painful bunions that she admitted to having years ago.

She told Women’s Wear Daily in 2010 how: “The attention on my feet really was embarrassing. I think I’ll have to have the surgery”, and maybe she just did! She had already been urged to have a bunionectomy, the removal of a bunion, which involves re-aligning the toe bone with screws, ouch!

According to The Daily Mail, Beckham is known to wear corrective insoles in many of her shoes and has taken measures to alleviate the pain that bunions cause. In lieu of recent events surrounding Victoria and the reason behind her surgery, the crutches and foot brace weren’t stopping her from being the chic fashionista we know and love her for.

The photo shared on Instagram of the star post-operation shows her wearing a beautiful neck jumper and tailored black trousers. Even Victoria Beckham wouldn’t let a surgery stop her from looking as fabulous as always. We wish her nothing but a speedy recovery and hope she gets back to wearing heels as fast as possible!
