It’s no secret that Hollywood has a thing for young talent. Actors and musicians who are under the age of 40 (or even 20 in some cases) tend to get more jobs, more attention on the red carpet and more praise, simply for being young and beautiful. However, some celebrities let the combination of fame and youth go to their heads. This can get annoying pretty quickly, whether you’re a producer trying to get your latest project to go smoothly, or a “civilian” who is sick of seeing entitled celebs get everything they want for no apparent reason. After all, when you’re able to move into any mansion you want and you can get into any club any day of the week, what could you possibly have to complain about?

To be fair, having such a large spotlight on you when you’re young is bound to expose the fact that you do stupid things sometimes. It’s part of being young, and weren’t you just a little annoying when you were younger? Be honest. And while you’re trying to come to terms with that harsh reality, here are 10 members of young Hollywood who can also be a little irritating sometimes.

10. Shailene Woodley

At first glance, most people think that actress Shailene Woodley is wise beyond her years. But after having a conversation with her, some would beg to differ. She’s only in her twenties and has lots of opinions about lots of things, without the life experience to back those opinions up. She stated in an interview with Marie Claire, that she doesn't believe that humans were created to be monogamous. She also shared that she doesn't want to be labeled as a feminist, because in her opinion, the term is discriminatory. These comments make it clear that Woodley has a lot more living to do before she can truly understand what she wants out of life. So, while her irritating ways are minor, they could still be annoying if you had to have a conversation with her that lasts longer than 5 minutes.

9. Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence was the it girl about a year ago, since she is the star of the Hunger Games movies. But now, it seems that she’s irritated enough people to dim her spotlight just a little. She’s always talking about the same topics in her interviews, particularly the fact that she hates the paparazzi and loves to eat Doritos. Lawrence also spends a considerable amount of time talking about the concept of dieting in Hollywood, and constantly discusses her weight. She feels that she shouldn't give up her happiness to be skinny, and has compared herself to actor Val Kilmer in that regard. But she’s not fat at all, that’s what makes all this weight talk irritating.

8. Justin Bieber

The pop star has been out of the spotlight lately, which makes him slightly less annoying, according to some. Justin Bieber has a reputation of being a spoiled, entitled brat, and treating his professional team with disrespect. He is also known for being rude towards certain public figures, including A-list actors and former presidents. Justin Bieber was forced to provide a testimony out of court at a deposition in Miami, and this proved just how ridiculous he can be. When lawyers for the paparazzo questioned him about his romance with Selena Gomez, conversations with his manager Scooter Braun, and how he became a star, he threw a bit of a tantrum. Bieber even stormed out of the room. But he’s still going to have to continue the deposition and answer the questions, so maybe he can be a little less of a brat this time.

7. Jaden and Willow Smith

The Smith kids, who are close with Justin Bieber, have likely let his annoying ways rub off on them. Jaden and Willow are known for saying really weird things during interviews and trying their best to sound intelligent. Some of their unconventional views likely come from the fact that they are home-schooled and are Scientologists, which is fine but still, they’re both too young to try and say things of substance that they hope will influence others. Their parents, actors and producers Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, encourage Willow and Jaden to think freely and independently, which is also a great thing. So, age and experience are likely the cure for the siblings’ out-of-touch comments.

6. Kristen Stewart

The stoic actress is just as well-known for her starring role in the Twilight movie series, as she is for her turbulent romance with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

It’s rare to see Kristen Stewart smile, and she’s expressed her disgust for the paparazzi on several occasions. Stewart has even gone as far as saying that she felt like she was being sexually assaulted when she was constantly getting her picture taken. She’s constantly dressed in grunge and pretty much has a negative disposition. But it’s very hard to understand why, because she’s made millions from her movies, gets to travel the world, and has a movie-star love interest. The fact that she doesn't realize how fortunate she is, can be pretty aggravating.

5. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is actually a friend of Justin Bieber’s as well, which isn't hard to believe, since they can both be pretty annoying. Cyrus has recently been spotted in several pictures throwing up the peace sign and sticking her tongue out. This is a pose that most people are tired of seeing by now. Miley also had a rather raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV Music Awards, which was way more than most people wanted to see. It’s also clear that she’s only after attention these days, since the former Hannah Montana star talked a lot about smoking marijuana and aliens in her interview for W Magazine.

4. Meghan Trainor

Trainor’s hit All About That Bass, is an ode to the full-figured girls of the world. There’s nothing wrong with that in theory, but Trainor doesn’t have to turn up her nose at skinny women in order to show self-love. That can get annoying really quickly. In the song, she encourages girls to be comfortable with their bodies, but also sings that it’s great to have a nice backside, since that’s what guys are into. Confusing, to say the least. Meghan Trainor also rejects the idea of being a feminist, saying that all she would tell people is to love themselves more. She’s only 20, so she has time to grow out of her ignorant comments.

3. Taylor Swift

While countless teens would argue that Taylor Swift is the best ever, she can be somewhat annoying. After all, she’s appeared on most talk shows, has won so many awards for her music, and has a pretty extensive list of exes. So, maybe people who think she’s irritating are actually a bit jealous of her. This could be the case, except it’s important to point out that Taylor Swift is constantly penning breakup songs, and suggesting the end of her relationships are always the guy’s fault. Some even think that her dating sprees, which have included interactions with Jake Gyllenhall and John Mayer, are just inspiration for her songs. These days, some of the people who used to be her fans are starting to figure out her alleged formula, and are starting to get annoyed.

2. Chris Brown

The singer and rapper is a lot of things, and annoying can certainly be one of them at times. His macho attitude when it comes to the ladies is an act that most people are tired of, especially after his domestic dispute with former girlfriend Rihanna. Even after the fallout, he didn’t seem apologetic for physically attacking her. He also had a tantrum during an interview for Good Morning America, and ended up throwing a chair out of the window. Chris Brown has also gotten into his share of club brawls. Brown has since been ordered to go to anger management, and we’re disappointed that there isn’t a class to teach him to be less of a jerk.

Kylie Jenner has shown the world just how much she likes attention recently. After all, she is the half-sibling of the Kardashians, so her need to be in the spotlight is likely hereditary. Over the past few months, Jenner’s lips have changed size and shape, but she’s been tight-lipped when it comes to discussing it. She recently revealed that she has lip fillers, after countless teen girls were flooding the internet with videos of them plumping up their lips using bottles and jars. Before her confession, she went to Twitter to state that she was bored with people talking about her lips and encouraged everyone to talk about more important things. This just made people talk about her more, so once again, her plan for attention has clearly worked.
