Dev Anand is an Indian actor, director, and producer who had an estimated net worth of $50 million.

Anand began his professional career as an actor when he appeared in Hum Ek Hain in 1946.

Other films he appeared in include Vidya, Jeet, Shair, Afsar, Sanam, Ziddi, Baazi, Paying Guest, and other notable movies that makes Anand's career successful.

Dharam Dev Pishorimal Anand was born on September 26, 1923 in Punjab, Pakistan. He got a BA degree in English Literature from the Government College in Lahore, Pakistan. Anand was married to Kalpana Kartik in 1954 and has one child. In December 3, 2011 while having a vacation in London, he died from cardiac arrest in The Washington Mayfair Hotel.
