What better way to show off that you have plenty of cash in the bank than to drive around in a super-expensive supercar? If money is no object, then why not buy one of the most expensive cars in the world? Perhaps the $4.8-million Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, if you have that kind of cash sitting in your bank account.
Plenty of celebrities are famed for their love of fast cars and all things petrol-powered. Jay-Z drives an $8 million Maybach Exelero. As seen in his video for “Lost One,” this sporty little number can reach an impressive top speed of 218mph. Veteran rocker Brian Johnson, lead singer of ACDC, is a huge vintage car enthusiast and has even raced in vintage car rallies around the world. His spectacular car collection includes the sporty 1965 Lola T70 Mark 1–only 15 of these were ever made–and a stylish 2010 Rolls Royce Phantom.
Not every celebrity, however, wants to spend their fortune on fast cars. Some, like those in the list below, are perfectly happy with a simple set of wheels to get them from point A to B. After all, even multi-billionaires need to get to the shops sometimes, and who wants to take the Ferrari to pick up a carton of milk?
Mark Zuckerberg’s Acura TSX
Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, may be worth 77 billion dollars, but that doesn’t mean he wants to spend his fortune on expensive supercars. He’s happy just driving his Acura TSX to and from the office, while other cars in his collection include the family favorite Honda Fit and the classic Volkswagen Golf GTi.
The Acura TSX costs up to $22,000, a (very) tiny fraction of Zuckerberg’s entire fortune.
He does have one luxury item in his car collection, though—a $1.4 million Pagani Huayra sports car. However, this Italian sports car apparently doesn’t get out of the garage much compared to his other vehicles. Maybe he's scared to scratch it.
Warren Buffett’s Cadillac XTS
Businessman Warren Buffett may be one of the richest men in the world, with a fortune worth $74 billion, but he is well-known for his frugal living, and that includes his cars. He rarely buys cars, as he does so little driving, and the vehicles he does buy tend to last him for many years.
His current car is a $46,000 Cadillac XTS which he bought in 2014.
His other spending quirks include living in the house that he bought back in 1958 and starts the day with a cheap takeout breakfast from none other than McDonald’s. Perhaps that all goes a long way to explain why he has so much money in the bank.
Kirk Cousins Drives A 2000 GMC Savana
Sports stars are generally not known for their restraint when it comes to spending money. These young men (and women) are often earning huge amounts of cash for the first time in their lives, and they tend to go a bit crazy when they get the chance to buy cars and other expensive items. Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins won’t be short of a few dollars,
yet he chooses to drive a 2000 GMC Savana, a car which he bought from his grandmother for $5000.
That is going to look a bit out of place among the supercars driven by the other Redskins players, although it will fit in better than the bicycle ridden to training by his former teammate, Alfred Morris!
Alice Walton, Heiress Of Walmart, Drives A Ford F150 Truck
The name Alice Walton may not be as familiar as some of the other celebrities on this list, but when we tell you what she's known for, you'll no doubt be familiar with how she makes her fortune. The heiress to the Walmart fortune has a massive net worth of almost $50 billion. Like the bargains you find in her Walmart stores, however, Walton prefers to keep things cut price when it comes to her wheels, driving a Ford F150 truck, just like her father before her. Alice Walton has a tricky relationship when it comes to driving, though. She has been involved in three accidents, including one in 1989 where she struck and killed a pedestrian. This might be why she feels safest in her Ford pickup truck.

Comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brien may spend his time hanging out with big Hollywood celebrities, professional athletes, and platinum-selling musicians, but
his choice of car is anything but glamorous.
He drove his beloved 1993 Ford Taurus for many years, before eventually conceding that it was finally time for it to be replaced. And what did he replace it with, you ask? Nothing that would break the bank. He purchased a $36,000 Acura TL. Not quite as low key as a battered Ford Taurus, but still a rather cheap buy for a man reported to earn an estimated $12 million every year for his television work.

Yet for many years, he drove what can only be described as a big car–albeit rather functional–and one that gave its owner plenty of trouble.
